HARDBORD 18X24

Hardbord is the perfect substrate for those who prefer to create their own grounds and unique textures. Hardbord is a 1/8'' thick tempered wood panel that is prepared without the traditional oil tempering process. This provides more strength and permanence than when using untempered or conventional hardboard. Hardbord accepts grounds for oils, acrylics, egg tempera, encaustic, and gold leaf, with no preparation required. It will not warp, crack, or bend. The birch plywood cradles can be left unfinished or treated easily with wood stain, gesso, or paint. Brand: Ampersand Art
