Hardbord is a 1/8 thick tempered wood panel that is prepared without the traditional oil tempering process. This provides more strength and permanence than when using untempered or conventional hardboard. Hardbord accepts grounds for oils, acrylics, egg tempera, encaustic and gold leaf, with no preparation required and it will not warp, crack or bend.
